Semi-skilled Spray Painter

**Company Description**
CFAM Technologies, a manufacturer of world-class food and feed processing equipment is looking a hardworking semi-skilled spray painter to join our team. We are passionate about food security and enable communities to utilize locally produced agricultural products to support food security through extrusion technology. We need someone who is experienced and can work quickly and efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces in advance of painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, smoothing surfaces and priming.
- Removing rust and other loose materials using acid or a wire brush.
- Perform touch-up work, correct imperfections, and patch holes.
- Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
- Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern.
- Spraying machines, products, frames and structures using industry techniques
- Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
- Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12
- Machinery or Steel Equipment Spray Painting experience

**Additional Information** Key skills required**:

- Experience working as a spray painter.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
- Ability to see subtle color differences.
- Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
- Ability to work with acid and harsh chemicals.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
