**About you and the key skills, we are looking for.**

You should be qualified with either a Degree or Diploma from an accredited tertiary institution preferably ICT based. More than 7 years of experience in Data Management Framework development and implementation is also desired. Such an individual will have been in the same role or similar where they have developed a proven track record and have therefore developed a strong understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and data quality concepts.

Data Governance frameworks such as Dama-DMBOK or the like are needed and experience and efficiency with data governance toolsets and technologies are preferred.
You would need to be an excellent analytical thinker and be able to rely on strong problem-solving skills, while also being proficient in data profiling, lineage and metadata management tools.

This is a consulting role and requires engagement on a day-to-day basis with various people, you would need to be a strong communicator, someone who can be adaptable in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in the environment and role.

**Key responsibilities**:
This role centers around Data and the tools, methods and frameworks that align to its accuracy. You would be expected to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures, establish data quality standards, conduct data audits, and collaborate with various stakeholders to improve data management practices.
Further to this, you would need to be adaptable and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices and guide data processes. Accuracy is paramount in this role as it aligns with Data security and compliance with relevant regulations within the client project.
You would also need to play a 'thought Leader' type role and recommend any changes in trends or innovations that may assist the client environment, while also providing training and support to the client and members within the environment and Team.
