Junior Technician

Responsible for assisting the Lead Support Technician on the Reliability Solutions Product support portfolio within Automation and Control Solutions. This function is responsible for the maintenance and support of installed base customer relationships. The scope of this role entails support of Reliability Solutions software platforms, Portable data collectors, Online prediction, protection systems and wireless systems.

**Minimum Requirements**:
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- N3 preferably with Information Technology, where N3 is a minimum requirement.
- Industrial Trade Test (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE:

- Information Technology (advantageous)
- Drivers Licence Required

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

- Assist Lead Technician with Reliability Solutions software and hardware support
- Assist Lead Technician to support current installed customer base as per guardian support
- Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
- Gather required information, refer to sales and internal resources for solutions
- Interact with OEM for assistance on supporting customers
- Meet expected milestones within development plan
