- Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work.
- Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicating with productions and Management and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the Drawing office team.
- Ensuring final drawings are compliant with the Main drawings.
- Identify and communicating potential drawing problems to the rest of the team.
- Be responsible to produce all fabrication’s drawings upon request to the relevant standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all drawings and work instructions are kept up to date.
- Ensure the quality of products and services is maintained and make improvements to the processes where necessary.
- Work under the supervision of the Drawing office Supervisor.
- Carry out regular programme monitoring to identify changes in the status of the projects.
- Production of drawings within appropriate timescale.
- Works systematically to ensure completion of tasks to meet deadlines and clients expectations.**Inherent Requirements**
- Completed Grade12.
- Undergone training on computer aided drawing software. (AutoCAD / Solidworks / Inventer / SigmaNest).
- Have a good understanding of plate sizes and grading of material.
- Worked in a drawing office with 1 year experience.
- Planning, strategizing, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Adaptability.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Goal driven.
- Time management skills.
- Up to date with new drafting software and advancements.
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings and technical information.
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload with drawing office Supervisor.
- Be humble and willing to learn.
