Providing a wide range of services to landlords and tenants all over South Africa, our blue-chip client has built up a strong reputation in integrated facilities management. By providing asset, property, administration, facilities, cleaning, security and various other services, they are able to ensure that buildings and precincts are kept safe, functional, free-flowing and compliant with all municipal by-laws.
One of the landmark precincts under their management requires a CID specialist to manage the district in accordance with the policies of the improvement district’s board, by keeping in daily contact with a large variety of precinct user; from taxi drivers to facilities managers, informal trades to shoppers and everything in between. The improvement district manager will implement and facilitate action arising from the urban design framework policy, which details implications and key areas of action that will enable property owners to maximize potential benefits to the node, whilst accommodating the needs of nodal users, a variety of service providers and tenants.
This role would suit someone with a background in facilities management who is both excellent with financial planning and with managing people. Social impact projects, public relations, soft service delivery and improvement projects will all fall to you to administer and report on.
If you have a good grasp of both municipal operations and commercial property management, along with a stable career track record which encompasses team management, we should be chatting. Minimum 7 years working experience and exceptional MS Office skills required.
