**JOB BRIEF**

Quick Project Management Services requires the service of Precinct Managers for Durbanville on a fixed-term basis to manage the day-to-day activities within the Precinct and implement the Precinct’s Strategy and Management Plan.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Manage and monitor community ambassadors deployed by MURP
- Work closely with the Sub council manager (regular and healthy communication and cooperation)
- Monitor & hands-on involvement of area-cleaning activities
- Establish a precinct management focus group
- Liaise with all City appointed service providers / City line departments that provide services which are related to the safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the precinct
- Resolve routine complaints and report complex complaints to the precinct management focus group / ACT
- Meet with City line departments to negotiate improvements to services being delivered at the precinct level
- Establish, arrange, and attend meetings with stakeholders within the precinct on a fortnightly basis (precinct management focus group meetings)
- Monitor activities of informal traders and ensure orderly trading practices are maintained at all times
- Attend and conduct site visits on a daily basis to different players in the precinct space
- Attend to complaints and queries timeously and report outcome to the precinct management focus group and Subcouncil Manager
- Establish, maintain, and support relationships with and between existing stakeholders.
- Identify when there is a breakdown in the working relationship and alert the Project Team and Subcouncil manager
- Conduct surveys (cleaning, defects, business/stakeholder satisfaction/opinion etc.)
- Identify problems and provide/suggest possible solutions in relation to urban /precinct management matters to the Precinct Project Team
- Compile and submit a Monthly report to the precinct management focus group and Subcouncil ACT
- Provide a holistic and integrated approach to resource allocation, implementation, including oversight of all activities, services and projects occurring within the precincts.

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a project manager or in a project management environment
- Experience in conflict resolution skill
- Knowledge of local area and dynamics would be an advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R28,000.00 per month
