The Shop Assistant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in-store and immaculate product presentation. The Store Assistant should also stay on top of the cleanliness of the store, ensuring a pleasurable shopping experience for all customers.

The Shop Assistant's role is key to the organisation's success as it will be the first point of contact with the customer, assisting the Shop Manager whenever and with whatever is needed at the physical premises.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual presentation standards.
- Checking and maintaining knives to prevent degradation of the products.
- Operating cash registers and point-of-sale machines.
- Manage and control high-risk stock.
- Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Undertaking some store administration duties.
- Monitoring stationery and packaging inventory levels.
- Packaging orders to be shipped.
- Be a shining example of good behaviour and high performance.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Driver’s license and/or own reliable transport
- MIE, clear criminal and credit
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Trustworthy, reliable and honest
