Snr Bookkeeper

**_SNR BOOKKEEPER, R18-R20k, Lynnwood Area_**
(1 Yr Contract with permanent appointment after a year)

Technological (electronic /engineering) company requires:
A suitable bookkeeping or finance qualification
3-5 years experience in Debtors / Creditors / Bookkeeping / Reconciliations / Domestic Banking / Internet Banking
It would be advantageous to have experience of having worked in SAP B1
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Bank Payments and Internet Banking
- Creating Creditors/ CDI’s on Standard Bank Domestic Banking
- Ensuring the payment of Creditors / CDI’s on Standard Bank Domestic Banking
- Printing of Audit trails
- Transferring money between investment accounts and cheque accounts
- Consulting with Standard Bank for any special needs like above-limit payments, limit increases, amortization schedules etc.
- Paying salaries and wages in a timely and accurate manner

Petty Cash Recon with SAP B1
Shipping - Local and international
Generating Sales Quotations & RFQ’s
- Submitting RFQ / Tenders when requested
- Generating Quotations on SAP B1
- Generating Tax Invoices on SAP B1

Tender Administration
An understanding of the calculation of Local Content section within the Tender administration process as it relates to the product offering.
Capturing Credit Card statement on SAP B1
SAP vs Statements
- Capturing Supplier Tax Invoices on SAP B1
- Reconciling of Tax Invoices / Deliveries to Supplier Statement
- Matching Payments with Tax Invoices per Customer
- Reconciling of Tax Invoices / Deliveries to Supplier Statement
- Reconciling of Supplier Statement with SAP B1
- Matching payments with Tax Invoices per Supplier
- Liaising with Suppliers regarding payment / outstanding Invoices
- Generating Journals for Supplier early settlement discount

Follow up GRV’s and Customer Payments (Debtors)
- Generating statements on SAP B1
- Sending Customer Statements
- Following up with clients regarding payments

Compile Monthly Reports for External Accountants
- Liaising with Auditors for VAT submission every month
- Liaising with Auditors for Auditing / Signing off Financial Statements

Monthly journals on SAP B1
- Generating Journals for supplier early settlement discount
- Generating journals for profit / loss on foreign exchange on SAP B1
- Generating monthly Journals related to Payroll, Insurance, Employee benefits, Service providers; EMP201, ROE difference etc.

Generating monthly cashflow forecast
- Providing Senior management with a 3-12-month Cash Flow forecast
- Updating the Cashflow sheet on a continuous basis
