**Job Advert Summary**:
**PURPOSE**:

- To provide investigative services.
- Conduct and lead internal investigations of alleged or suspected fraud and financial abuse, occurring within the company.
- Responsible for preparing reports, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders, and recommending corrective action relating to internal control failures.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- B Degree (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum or)
- BCom Accounting (Essential/Minimum)
- Chartered Financial Analyst Level 3 (Recommended/Desirable)

**EXPERIENCE**:
5 years Proven experience as a forensic auditor. Clear understanding of a forensic auditing procedures. Strong investigation and analytical skills. Possess excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to present forensic findings in an objective and unbiased manner. (Essential/Minimum) Operational

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (Recommended/Desirable)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Customer, Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management**
- Render professional customer support services
- Interface with various levels of the organization, including Senior Management
- Provide concise and meaningful updates to Internal Audit Leadership, senior management, human resources and legal team

**Investigations and Procedures**
- Responsible to conduct and lead internal investigations of alleged or suspected violations of criminal law and corporate policies, including theft, fraud, embezzlement, conflict of interest, collusion, kickbacks, and records falsification
- Audit financial documents and records to identify inaccuracies
- Analyse financial data and trace the discrepancies to the source
- Gather, review, and analyse data in support of an investigation
- Conduct informational and admission seeking type interview
- Prepare clear, comprehensive and cohesive investigative reports and memoranda in a timely manner
- Prepare work papers to adequately document investigations performed with supporting evidence for all forensic findings
- Testify in hearings and criminal trials when necessary
- Assist in Special projects as assigned

- Encourage a culture that focuses on safety in all operations

**Specialised Support**
- Identify, and clearly define, forensic issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed
- Promote a zero-tolerance control environment where fraud or noncompliance is unacceptable and difficult to conceal
- Perform regular financial record audits to ensure compliance with the law
- Maintain the confidentiality of all investigations related to the organization
- Form part of Forensic Investigation Team to investigate fraud and abuse in the workplace
