**Client Ops - Asset Care and License Management** required for a reputable automotive manufacturing industry based in **East London, Eastern Cape**

**Duties**:
Works with the business areas and external service providers to purchase hardware, software, and devices. Coordinates lifecycle replacement and management of devices. Oversees computer and device inventory, retirements and disposal, including general stores management. Responsible for asset verification of any IT hardware that is ordered by the business areas or IT. Handles Enterprise Software license and software maintenance renewals. Liaise, manage and work together with the on-site IT service providers to ensure operational stability as per agreed service levels within the workplace office environment.

**Outputs**
- Liaise, manage and work together with the on-site IT service providers to ensure operational availability of IT Assets per agreed service levels
- Establish and continually improve the agreed IT service delivery levels and process
- Provide input towards proactive service monitoring, capacity and planning.
- Ensure the Central IT Shop Support Team implement all standard services in IT Shop Locally
- Plan and submit forecasts for the Vendor for ordering new Hardware Ensure IT Security Compliance of solutions to approved requirements and standards
- Coordinate incident and problem management for office related Assets and ones area of responsibility, including subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of the relevant corrective and preventative measures
- Manage and coordinate the change control process for all planned and emergency changes for one’s area of responsibility
- Liaise with the LCC for quotations and ordering of new Software licenses and maintain it on the Software SharePoint site
- Manage and coordinate all tasks and activities performed by the local user service desk (Office).
- Manage risks and ensure IT Security Compliance to the approved requirements and standards for ones area of responsibility
- Implementation / initiation of optimization measures (process, technology, budgets & costs). Support on any new business initiatives for ones area of responsibility. Manage ideas from design stage through implementation.
- Lead and direct different cross-functional programs and projects of varied sizes and types concurrently.
- Perform all outputs in compliance with the Company's Integrity Codes & SHEQ requirements.
- Perform delegated SHEQ tasks and duties and Inform superiors about deviations.

**Qualification**
- Minimum NQF 7 - BSC/BCom/BTech Degree in Information Technology or Relevant equivalent.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience within IT Infrastructure / IT asset management Environment
- Knowledge and experience in MS Windows and the MS Office Suite
- Mobile and telephone technology as well as proficient server and network knowledge.
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI reporting
- Experience in IT Service Management: Cooperative, Confident handling of business partners and suppliers including performance monitoring.
- ITIL certifications will be advantageous. I.e.: Foundation, Problem Management, etc.
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport
