**Bakery and Deli Frontline Supervisor**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Bakery Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of a bakery, including production, baking, stocking, and customer service.
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
- Train and supervise bakery staff in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Monitor and adjust production processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards.
- Monitor food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Develop new recipes and products to meet customer demands.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of production, sales, and inventory.

**Deli Responsibilities**
- Slices, packages, and weighs deli products
- Properly train all Deli Outfitters both full and part time to ensure they are meeting all company training goals
- Responsible for conducting performance reviews, issuing appropriate disciplinary steps along with preparing the necessary documentation
- Occasionally inside kitchen area and or dish room
- Lead the Deli Department operations in accordance with established department standard practices, in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager
- Lead excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in customer service
- Support that department conditions involving appearance, quality, variety, safety, sanitation, and food safety are consistently maintained at the highest level
- Assist in creating and maintaining effective work schedules to meet production and customer service standards associatesÕ personal needs
- Provide real time coaching, feedback, and assist with the performance management process
- Maintain solid communication in the department and with store management.
- Interact politely with clients while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation.

**Qualifications And Experience**
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of inventory control and ordering supplies
- Ability to train and motivate employees
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuils River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 2 years (required)
