**High School English Teacher (Grades 7-12)**

Position: High School English Home Language Teacher

Grades: 7-12

Location: Parkhaven, Boksburg.

Start Date: January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English Home Language lessons for Grades 7-9 or Grades 10-12.

Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.

Assess and monitor students' progress through formative and summative assessments.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Participate in staff meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
A recognized Teaching Qualification (BEd or PGCE).

A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in English Home Language at the required grade levels.

Strong knowledge of CAPS curriculum and assessment standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Advantageous Skills:
Experience in integrating technology into teaching.

A passion for literature and creative writing.

Involvement in co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
