**Sales Consultant (Luxury Goods)**

**Salary: R16-30K Depending on experience**

**Purpose of Position**:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for **National Sales Consultants for a luxury retail brand throughout their branches across South Africa**

Eastern Cape

Gauteng

Kwazulu Natal

Western Cape

North West

The ideal Sales Consultant is expected to consistently achieve their personal sales target; make a significant contribution to the achievement of store targets; grow their VIP client base; be proficient in and adhere to all store operations and procedures; contribute to a co-op working environment; be an ambassador of the brand; and be adept at self-management. Positions are all permanent with incentives and benefits.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with bachelors pass; Diploma / Degree
- Any additional sales training courses
- Jewellery making qualifications; Diamond grading qualifications highly advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience
- Experience in high-end retail; jewellery; luxury goods niche industries
- 2 years jewellery/jewellery sales experience preferred
- Professional, well groomed and well presented individual
- Further Courses, certifications, professional affiliations preferred
- From time to time, Sales Consultants may be required to work extra hours/overtime or travel as per the contract of employment. They may be required to assist or fill in for staff at other stores.
- Consultants will also be required to attend sales training at Support Office and any other additional training that the company may require.

Skills And Knowledge:

- Systems knowledge (Zoho Mail, Zoho Desk, POS Systems, MS Office and internal systems)
- Sales knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of jewellery, products and collections, loyalty clubs, VIP, luxury goods
- Sales admin and operations

**Duties**:
Individual sales - Sales Consultants are measured on a monthly sales target which entails:

- Introducing and mastering new clients to the store tour.
- Introducing clients to the loyalty club, and explaining the tiers and benefits.
- Presenting jewellery in an elegant, professional and sophisticated manner.
- Delivering the ultimate, intimate jewellery experience to each and every client.
- Actively managing one’s client book through personal trade tools and maintaining the relationship.
- Using the group website as a sales catalogue and selling tool.
- Communicating the brand difference.
- Consistent achievement of individual sales target.
- Achieve 100% of monthly sales target
- Achieve store conversion & store average sale rate or better

Store Sales - Sales Consultants are measured on their contribution to the store monthly sales target:

- Ranking is based on highest sales and is an indicator of contribution to the store’s achievement of target.
- Percentage contribution to store target is an indicator of the value a Sales Consultant brings to the team
- Year on year store performance is an indicator of continuous improvement and store growth.
- Active participant and supporter of a co-op culture and structure.

Operations
- Repair and collection order processes; logging of tickets; merchandising; banking; high value process; issuing of loyalty club keyrings; filing and any other general administration; following up on personal trade and leads; manual procedures; accepted payment methods; certification; paid in full and lay-buy processes; refunds and returns policies/process; Diamond Investment Programme process.
- Store audits, client correspondence, database management, administration
- Product Training & Development will be given to the successful applicant, and they will share knowledge and mentor new sales consultants over time
