**Retention Specialist**
**Industry: Merchant Services / VAS / Merchant Acquiring.**
**Location: Sandton**
**Start Date: March / April ‘24**
A successful retention specialist has a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for sales and business development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicating with customers and sales representatives and other stake holders within the VP.
- Analyzing customer behavior and Identifying industry trends.
- Gathering information about customer complaints and concerns.
- Developing proactive and reactive retention strategies based on feedback and industry trends.
- Negotiating with customers to renew contracts, retain business and possibly develop new business.
- Educating the sales force on customer retention solutions.
- Reporting on Industry and client-based trends.
- Building positive relationships with customers and other stake holders.
**Requirements**:
- 3> Retentions experience in Merchant services, payment systems / VAS and merchant acquiring.
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing - preferable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Advanced communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills.
**Salary**: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
