We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our client’s dynamic team in Moorreesburg. The primary focus of this role is the maintenance of all electrical installations and equipment on the plant, as well as the installation of new electrical equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of all electrical work, including plant maintenance, preventative maintenance, projects, and shutdowns.
- Oversee the installation of new electrical equipment.
- Ensure the maintenance of all instrumentation and installations.
- Perform legal inspections on services.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and address faulty equipment promptly.
- Actively participate in safety forums, including safety meetings and talks.
- Follow up on activities assigned through safety meetings, committees, representatives, or management.
- Promptly report all safety incidents to relevant parties.
- Attend safety education and refresher programs.
- Strictly comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Distribute safety information as required.
- Wear protective clothing

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12.
- Qualified with an applicable Trade Certificate.
- Certified installation electrician advantageous.
- Knowledge of HACCP and safety procedures advantageous.
- Valid Code B driver's license.
- Wireman’s License - Must be able to issue 3 Phase COC’s.
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
- Experience with hazardous electrical installations advantageous.
- Role may require relevant standby duty as per the issued roster.
