BI Specialist

The BI Specialist is responsible for the coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather all data design specifications as per customer requirements, analysing these requirements, making recommendations where necessary and designing and developing world class reports and dashboards on various platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlikview and Microsoft Devexpress Report Writer.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate with stakeholders and gather all report and BI dashboard requirements
- Analyse business requirements and propose best platform for the solution
- Design and configure reports and dashboards as per the specification
- Design communication process and prepare plans for all work assignments and ensure completion within deadline.
- Develop wireframes, proof-of-concepts, or specifications of dashboards where required
- Develop dashboards to support data-driven decision making
- Setup and maintain automated reporting processes
- Provide technical expertise in delivering business requirements
- Upskilling and mentor users to adopt to the various platforms.
- Manage and maintain the creation, publishing, efficiency, and security aspects of Power BI Reports
- Prepare test cases and plans and perform tests
- Perform troubleshooting and assist in resolution.

**Requirements**:

- Power BI experience compulsary
- Qlikview Experience advantages
- Microsoft Devexpress report writer experience advantages
- Experience in establishing and leading with Power BI architectural best practices.
- SQL experience advantages
- Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience working in a BI role
