**What will you do?**
- Responsible for development and coordination of risk management programmes and ensures that risk management programmes are designed to identify and measure risk by developing and using risk identification and measurement methods such as risk and control self-assessments, loss event database and process flow analysis. Responsible to make accurate risk mitigating recommendations to implement internal controls, transfer risk e.g. 3rd party insurance or avoid the risk-related business. Collect and analyses risk information and ensures that the organisation is adequately protected against loss. Draft reports including recommendations on proactive management decisions to prevent risk events. May have supervisory responsibilities.**What will make you successful in this role?**
- Develop and implement enterprise risk management practices including operational risk framework, risk appetite, policy and procedures and implementation of risk protocols.
- Identify, review, monitor, assess and document risks and manage / provide guidance to various business functions and departments.
- Work with multiple process owners and business leads to identify governance gaps and analyze requirements.
- Identify gaps pro-actively in the design and operational effectiveness of implemented controls.
- Process and Data Mapping: Perform detailed analysis, documenting processes, and mapping data intricacies.
- Analyse As-Is "Week in the Life of" (WILO) processes, identifying and resolving gaps.
- Develop Activity-level Business Process Maps and RACIs for both As-Is and To-Be states/processes.
- Gap Analysis: Identify and bridge the gaps between existing and new functionality.
- Define Activity RACI and compare As-Is and To-Be processes to identify gaps and change impacts.
- Map As-Is Processes and WILO to User Stories, providing input for High-Level Design.
- Craft a comprehensive strategy or case-for-change document for the project.
- Requirements Definition: Define detailed requirements for system implementation based on the gap analysis.
- Testing: Ensure thorough testing of implemented solutions.
- Lifecycle Involvement: Be fully engaged in the Software Development Life Cycle, embracing both agile and hybrid methodologies.
- Assess current system-based processes, identifying opportunities for simplification.
- Explore technology-enabled opportunities and the development of new processes.
- Monitor process compliance, identify trends and issues, and implement actions to enhance compliance.
