You will work on a number of active and forthcoming wastewater infrastructure projects - including combined sewer flows, storm storage, pumping stations, rising mains, sewer upgrades and rehab pipe bridge upgrades and replacements in a Design & Build working environment. You will provide technical design expertise to support our multi-disciplinary team of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Geotechnical & Environmental engineers.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities would include**:
+ Feasibility assessment of engineering infrastructure.

+ Prepare and check design approach, calculations, drawings and technical reports with due cognisance to technical specification standards, and in accordance with Construction Design Management (CDM) and Health & Safety procedures.

+ Support the Design & Build of wastewater infrastructure.

+ Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers. Mentees will be both local (South Africa) and in remote locations (UK)

+ Liaise with construction delivery team & contribute to providing solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.

+ Liaise with clients to obtain relevant technical consents as part of the engineering process.

+ Comply with Client Quality Assurance procedures.

Minimum Requirements

+ Registered as a professional engineer or working towards registration

+ Sound technical knowledge of industry standards and specifications and an understanding of client regulations.

+ Experience within water industry.

+ Experience in role where design was predominant responsibility of position.

Preferred Qualifications

+ BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering.
