We are looking for a focused data capture to continuously update our department databases. The incumbent will be responsible for liaising with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect and correct data. They will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. Their role will include identifying and correcting errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. To capture information from hard copies to electronic system, i.e. excel, access & ensure that the information that is captured is accurate and in good standard.

**Areas of Responsibilities**

**Main KPA’s**
- Gathering and reporting any discrepancies to Supervisor / Senior.
- Register pension-fund related complaints and/or queries onto the case management system as soon as it is received by SALT. for allocation of a case reference number.
- Capture OPFA determinations onto the case management system.
- Allocate all complaints and queries to the Team Leader for assessment and allocation.
- Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
- Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
- Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
- Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
- Consistently check work for accuracy and completeness.
- Compare the entered information with the source to identify errors and correct.
- Responsible for storing and filing completed information and maintaining records of work tasks and completed documents.
- Performs many different administrative tasks such as word processing, filling out paperwork, and maintaining records and files.
- Handling additional duties from time to time.

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
- An understanding of word, excel and basic computer network systems.
- Ability to manage relationships between and within different operational.
- Attention to Detail.
- Strong Computer literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure and under stressful conditions.
- Team Player: Working with others independently to attain both individual and team objectives.
- Effective written communications skills / Good spelling and grammar skills.
- Proficient typing and excellent proofreading skills.
- Time management skills.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Proven data capturing experience
