WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The main purpose of the **QA Inspector ECL** is to perform Inspections of component parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with RDM base line drawings and associated documentation so as to ensure compliance of the item being assessed. Maintain and manage structured release protocols so as to ensure accurate inputs to the Business System and component acceptance & build history.

KEY PERFORMAMNCE AREAS:
**Quality Management System**:

- Maintain system to support controlled product release.

**Inspection and ECL Operations**
- Incoming acceptance documentation preparation.
- Sampling Inspection, Inspection Data, Data base integrity and standardised protocols.
- Dimensional Measurement and programming, including Co-ordinate Measuring Machines and optical measurement systems.
- Production and development support for tooling, measurement equipment, fixtures and Gauging.
- Production and development support to resolve technical drawing and manufacturing challenges.
- Release of products, capturing of inspection reports on QMS & ERP and maintenance of build history.
- Follow-up with suppliers and other role players on non-conforming materials

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Minimum qualification;Diplomain Mechanical Engineering/Metrology Or equivalent qualification.
- 2 - 5 Year’s Experience In A Mechanical Inspection Environment.
- 3 - 5 Year’s Experience In A Mechanical Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience with Optical Measuring Machines advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability In Interpretation of Geometric Tolerancing And Engineering Drawing requirements.
- Exposure And Understanding Of The Iso 9001 Quality Management Standards is required.
- Good communication skills, verbal And written.
- Knowledge Of Ms Office (Ms Word, Excel And Outlook)
- Availability to work overtime to support operational requirements.
- Valid Drivers Licence
