We are recruiting for the above position at our Head Office based in Benoni.

As a Buyer / Procurement Administrator based at DANOHER Head Office you will be at the forefront of managing our company’s purchasing activities. Primary activities of the role are to source equipment, goods, and services and managing suppliers.

The successful applicant will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search & negotiate deals, and find more profitable suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier power.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven working experience as a buyer/administrator.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures.
- Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.

**Salary**: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
