**SECTION A - POSITION DETAILS & PURPOSE**

**Job Title**:Tyre Fitter

**Department**:Technical

**Reports to**:Tyre Foreman

**Location**:Alrode

**Job Purpose**:
The incumbent is responsible for inspecting vehicle tyres and the related components, checking for signs of damage and or wear and tear.

**SECTION B - QUALIFICATION & LEARNINGS**

**Qualification**
- Matric
- Minimum 3 years’ experience industry experience
- Valid driver’s license

**SECTION C - JOB OUTPUTS**

**Tyre Inspections**
- Inspect Tyres for damage, such as nails, stones, and cracks in the rubber.
- Ensure Tyres are correctly inflated
- Report defects to Fleet Manager
- Replace/Rotate Tyres as needed.
- One Tyre survey to be done on each vehicle per month

**Documentation**
- Ensure that the correct company documentation is completed and submitted to Fleet Manager daily

**KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOME 1: PEOPLE**

**Other**
- Assist with adhoc tasks as may be required from time to time
