**Job Description: Wastewater Treatment Plant/Water Reticulation Technician**

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field

**Experience & Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience specifically in wastewater treatment plants or water reticulation lines and boreholes
- Comprehensive knowledge of the processes, equipment, and technologies utilized in wastewater treatment plants and water reticulation systems
- Proficiency in working with various equipment, including PLCs (e.g., Alan Bradley, Mitsubishi), SCADA systems (e.g., RS-View SE, WonderWare), DC and AC drives (e.g., Alan Bradley), large AC and DC motors and generators, Ward Leonard control systems, cranes (e.g., AC-10 Control), and distribution systems up to 3.3KV
- Familiarity with Level 1 networks such as Profi-bus, Ethernet, Device-Net, and ControlNet
- Experience with edge guiding equipment (e.g., Emg and Fife), GE analogue control, X-ray and Source Radiation Strip-and-Coating Thickness Measuring Gauges, combustion control, and other instrumentation equipment
- Valid driver's license and availability of reliable transportation for attending to after-hour breakdowns

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain high plant availability by performing regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and instrumentation in wastewater treatment plants and water reticulation systems
- Provide support to plant maintenance activities, including participating in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for system failures or malfunctions, and perform subsequent postmortem activities to prevent future occurrences
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancing system performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in the Level 0 and 1 arena and propose their integration where appropriate to enhance system capabilities and productivity
- Compile project enquiries, ensuring they align with ArcelorMittal standards and meet business needs
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and compliance with industry regulations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical training systems to enhance the knowledge and skills of the team members
- Take responsibility for SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) aspects related to work activities, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
- Be available for after-hours standby duty to promptly respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure mínimal disruption to operations
