**Contracts Manager/Official**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Essential: One of the following qualifications: LLB or MSc in Construction Law or a qualification from RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in legal engineering, construction, or a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in contract management, specifically with various standard contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC (New Engineering Contracts), and JBCC.
- Possess extensive working knowledge of the principles of design and construction projects.
- Have a solid background in construction science and business management as well as a strong understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Extensive experience in various tasks, including dispute management, rebutting statements of claims, contract administration, and auditing.
- Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Analyse, draft, assess, and negotiate commercial and general business contracts with Clients, Suppliers, and Sub-Contractors.
- Lead and oversee Contract Management tasks performed by project team members during project execution.
- Provide referrals and responses for dispute resolution as needed.
- Conduct audits and prepare audit reports.
- Record meeting minutes when necessary.
- Offer expert knowledge and advisory services.
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to contract management and implementation.
