**Introduction**
The Security Channel Sales Rep will be responsible for selling IBM offerings through the channel partners. You will also establish, develop, maintain and manage relationships with named Business Partners.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Implement IBM channel partner strategy, meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction consistent with company policy and goals.
- Analyze channel ecosystem in terms of current business obstacles, identifying opportunities and scoping potential IBM opportunities.
- Build and develop a vibrant Channel network across South Africa.
- Develop and execute the IBM/Business Partner (BP) business plan and growth model.
- Develop and drives large deals with business partners and increase software footprint in the market
- Develop and execute territory plan for Security Brand to achieve revenue objectives
- Resolve channel issues & problems, alert others as needed
- Work with Direct Sales & Tech Sales to build an aligned channel objective
- Lead IBM key BP planning sessions / deal clinics
- Be responsible for overall BP achievement
- Be responsible for overall BP pipeline coverage.
- You will develop business and sales strategies for communicating new IBM developments or announcements to the Business Partners and customers within the assigned territory.
