Pattern Cutter

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the designer to interpret sketches and concepts into patterns for couture garments.
- Create accurate, high-quality paper based on designer specifications.
- Ensure patterns accommodate various sizes and fitting requirements, incorporating adjustments as needed.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to patterns based on feedback from designers and seamstresses.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of patterns and document any changes made for future reference.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience
- Degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Cutting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of sustainable practices in fashion design.
- Proven experience as a pattern cutter, preferably in a couture or high-fashion environment.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabrics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts and adjustments.
- A passion for couture fashion and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
