**Skills & Requirements**:

- Should be able to design and execute test plans that cover all possible scenarios and edge cases. They should also be able to provide feedback and make recommendations for improvements.
- Should have a good understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and different browsers to ensure that the live auction site functions correctly on all devices.
- Should be familiar with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit, among others.
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and provide solutions to ensure that the live auction site meets all requirements and functions correctly.
- Should have excellent attention to detail to identify and track defects, ensuring that they are properly documented and resolved.
- Should have good communication skills to work with the development team and communicate issues and potential improvements effectively.
- Should have knowledge of different types of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, usability testing, and performance testing, among others, to ensure that the live auction site is thoroughly tested and meets all requirements.

Es & Co Creative is looking for a skilled QA Tester to form part of a development team for an exciting project for a large client in the automotive industry. You will act as an **independent contractor** for Es & Co. You will have no set working hours but will be required to come in to office on some days for team meetings etc.

**1. Project Manager: (1)**

Responsible for overseeing the project, ensuring it meets requirements, and keeping the team on track.

Responsible for designing and developing the website. (Front End, Back End and

Database)

**3. UI/UX designer (1)**

Responsible for creating the user interface and experience, ensuring the site is easy to use and navigate.

**4. Quality Assurance Engineer: (1)**

Responsible for testing the site to ensure it works as expected and meets requirements.

**5. DevOps Engineer: (1)**

Responsible for setting up and maintaining the infrastructure including servers, databases and deployment tools.

**6. Business Analyst: (1)**

Responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, identifying risks and opportunities, and creating a roadmap for the project.

**7. Marketing Specialist: (1)**

Responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan to promote CarZar.co.za.

**WEBSITE**

The website is the first contact with potential customers looking to sell their vehicles.

The focus of the website is to inform the customer of the service that CarZar is offering and guide them through the process of selling their vehicle on the platform.

As the website is going to be one of the biggest lead generators for CarZar, it needs to be appealing, user friendly, very fast, and extremely Search Engine Optimised.

The website will be built using a Content Management System (CMS) which will allow

CarZar to update content on the website and publish new blog posts without the need for a developer.

**CUSTOMER PORTAL**

Once a customer decides that they want to sell their vehicle through CarZar, they will have three different ways to create their account and upload their vehicle details. It is important to make this process as smooth and painless as possible to encourage customers to complete it.

Certain customer details will be saved in the background while they are completing the forms. This will be limited to the customers contact details and very basic information

about their vehicle. This will allow CarZar to contact the customer if they drop off during the sign-up process and help them complete it.

The Customer Portal will allow customers to maintain their personal account and manage all the vehicles that they have loaded onto their profile. When a vehicle has been loaded, the customer would need to explicitly allow the vehicle to go on auction before it is added to the auction stock.

(Refer to auction section). A customer will be able to create a new vehicle listing, update and remove existing vehicles. The portal will also show the customer relevant information about their vehicle, for example, the price fetched by previous vehicle like theirs, the date the vehicle will go on auction and the current bid placed on the vehicle while it is in the auction.
