The ideal incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the operation and administration:
**Human Resource**:
2. Recruitment: Conduct recruitment to meet requirement as per the vacancy on the roster.

3. Plan and schedule replacements for sick leave and annual leave where applicable.

4. Attend to WCL documents when required.

5. Manage the influx of employees terminated and ensure termination compliance.

6. Hold necessary employee relations meetings.

**Internal Relations**:
1. Executive and administer disciplinary action against defaulting employees.

2. Ensure appropriate disciplinary steps are taken in line with the BCEA, LRA, NBCPSS, etc.

3. Initiate disciplinary hearings

4. Represent the company at CCMA and ensure that full planning is done to dispute matters.

5. Negotiate settlements when necessary.

6. Keep a history of corrective action taken and ensure that compliance to corrective discipline prevails.

**Sales and Marketing**:
1. Liaise with marketing company and provide material for write up.

2. Motivate ground staff to attend and take photos of incidents attended and forward to marketing to write a story.

3. Initiate standoff to create visibility awareness.

4. Ensure that there is adequate visibility and attendance in the Musgrave area.

5. Create promotions and liaise with marketing to initiate and broadcast.

6. Meet and present to interested clients on the services required and create selling tools to help the customer identify the importance of what the service entails.

**Costing**:
1. Create quotations and submit for approval.

2. Create price plans to sell to clients interested in the service.

3. Keep a track history of all quotes done and follow up with customers.

4. Keep interested customers updated with any new promotions.

**Budgets**:
1. Map the area of visits and create an adequate route to plan for the inspector visits.

2. Create a budget forecast based on the route plan to assist with cost saving initiatives on the fuel account.

3. Create a forecast and account for scheduled services and maintenance to help create a forecasted budget to plan for expenses ahead.

4. Keep an asset register with all equipment on site and in the company and ensure that any faulty, missing or stolen item is investigated and charge accordingly.

5. Keep a track of uniform expenditure and balance to billed vs shrinkage.

**Payroll**:
1. Keep track of all employee rates

2. Verify mid-month wage schedule to confirm correct and accuracy.

3. Investigate queries and calculate positive queries.

4. Verify month end wage schedule to confirm accuracy.

6. Attend to staff complaints regarding payroll.

7. Ensure that all new employees have employee numbers. Liaise with payroll to follow up on any progress of outstanding.

8. Investigate deductions and ensure accuracy.

**Client visits**:
1. Ensure that clients are visited and issues resolved timeously.

2. Provide clients with an action plan that is to their satisfaction.

3. Ensure that all sites have a valid job description that is approved by the client.

4. Ensure that all guards are complying with the job description.

5. Have contingencies in place to ensure that there is no service delivery hindrance.

6. Ensure that all guards working on site are adequately trained.

7. Keep a history of issues raised and the outcome/resolution provided to the client.

8. Create adequate measures to strengthen client relationship and boost trust in service.

**Requirements**:
Must be in possession of a valid grade 12 certificate. A security management qualification shall serve as an advantage.

Be Psira registered with minimum grade B.

Valid code 08 driver’s license.

Minimum 5 years management experience in a security industry.

Minimum 2 years’ experience representing at CCMA and bargaining council.

Excellent customer service skills

Exceptional ability to forecast expense vs inflation.

Clean criminal record

Well-disciplined and hard working

Willing to work additional hours to meet expectation

All weapons competency with business purpose preferred but handgun competency with business purpose is essential.

Ability to initiate training and development

Ability to create systems and procedures in line with company code of conduct and operational procedures manual.

The successful incumbent will be required to undergo an aptitude assessment.
