**Job Description: Security Driver**

**Definition**

Security Drivers will drive family members to and from their daily activities, including school, work, and various business and social functions. They help their passengers get in and out of the car, carry packages and luggage, and run errands.

The Security Driver will also be required to protect clients from threat. They are to check out and secure premises before clients enters, identify suspicious behaviour or unauthorised people and prevent potential threats or disruption.

**Education and Qualification Requirements**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
1. Minimum 5 years of Executive driver experience

2. Minimum 2 years of Corporate Security experience

3. Valid driver’s licence

4. Good communication skills with ability to speak and read English

5. Advanced Driving training

6. Safe driving training

**Key Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Providing security for executive and family, including monitoring their well-being and handling any security threats or issues that arise
- Maintaining a vehicle inventory, ordering parts, and arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed
- Driving executive to meetings, conferences, social engagements, and other events as requested
- Ensuring that the executive’s schedule is organized effectively to maximize productivity
- Providing assistance with luggage and other items as requested by the executive
- Staying informed about current local events and activities that may be of interest to the executive so that he or she may be informed about community activities and events
- Coordinating with other staff members at the executive’s company to ensure that all requests are handled appropriately
- Assisting with security measures such as checking identification badges at the door of an event or making sure that alarms are set before leaving a building unoccupied
- Monitoring traffic conditions, including road construction and congestion, and relaying information to the executive in advance so that alternative arrangements can be made
- Keeping the road safety regulations all the time
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the vehicle at all times
- Any other ad-hoc assignments or project as when required by the CEO
- Familiarize themselves with GPS devices
- Lift heavy packages and luggage
- Avail themselves to take weekend and night shifts
- Check out and secure premises before clients arrive
- Identify suspicious behaviour or unauthorised people
- Prevent potential threats or disruption
- Stay constantly alert to react to threatening situations

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

- Firearm competency (required)
- Advanced Driver's License (required)
