**Job Summary**:
To carry out the production of packaging material on the Slitting Machine according to the production plan and quality control procedures

**What you will do**:

- Follow production safety rules
- Work according to existing procedures/standards. Continuously improve these procedures/standards as required
- Ensure that production is carried out according to the production plan
- Ensure that all quality parameters are continuously met and carry out all quality checks as required
- Monitor and control finishing quality and ensure that defect waste is eliminated
- Ensure that setups are performed efficiently with mínimal waste
- Identify and remove defects
- Correctly identify defects and send reels to doctor
- Communicate any non-conformances to the Process Engineer and/or Team Leader
- Identify anomalies and raise tags
- Remove tags by correcting anomalies
- Participate in WCM teams
- Create OPLs and SOPs

- Ability to lead a team
- Ability to be agile and respond rapidly to changes

**Minimum Education**:
N6 Technical Diploma

- Finishing defect waste
- EE
- MTBI
- AM Team progression
- Ensure 5S is maintained on the Slitter and associated areas
- High computer literacy including MSOffice, P2
- Ability to understand and operate a Slitting machine
- Ability to understand and operate a HMI
- Basic operational fault finding
- Crane operating and basic rigging
- Operate pallet truck
- Competencies as indicated by the Tetra Pak Global Competency matrix and Tetra Pak AM Skills matrix, which may be updated from time to time.
