**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Ensure compliance to company procurement policies and procedures.

Negotiating prices, discounts, rebates, quality, delivery objectives as well as continuity of supply with suppliers

Negotiate and review contracts and SLA’s to improve terms of business with suppliers / couriers and review opportunities to make business savings

Monitor and identify dynamics of market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

Find alternative suppliers for products

Coordinates with fellow branch managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs

Evaluate performance against budget

Develop and execute class leading price, promotion, and product strategy

Consolidation of purchasing/suppliers between various branches

Developing inter branch transfer procedures to effectively manage the stock

Control stock levels in the company for maximum stock-turn ratio

Manage back-orders on suppliers

Ordering and receipting of products sourced from overseas suppliers

Dealing with freight forwarding companies

Calculate correct landing cost for imports to assist sales team in calculating the correct selling price

Assess supplier promotions to drive sales initiatives.

Controlling Inter-Branch Transfers to optimize stock levels across all branches

Grade 12

Relevant tertiary education in supply chain management or similar

3 years’ experience in the automotive industry

3 years’ procurement experience
