Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent. - Strong accounting background plus minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position. - A tertiary qualification in finance / accounting will be advantageous - SYSPRO experience will be advantageous. - Proficiency in Business English, both written and verbal. - Good interpersonal, communication and telephone skills. - Proven experience of Pastel Evolution. - Proficient in MS Office with excellent Excel skills.

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:

- Capture supplier invoices accurately and timeously. - Obtain purchase orders and allocate against correct cost codes. - Reconcile supplier accounts and allocate payments timeously. - Liaise with suppliers on outstanding invoices or information and maintain sound relationships to facilitate smooth management of the account. - Resolve queries with minimum delay. - Reconcile and prepare age analysis and submit to management. - Assist in other positions and departments in accordance to operational requirements. - Perform any other tasks that may from time to time be assigned. - Adhere to the health, hygiene and safety regulations and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
