Master Electrician

Stefanutti Stocks Inland Electrical, requires a Master Electrican to join their team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for Ensuring that all electrical components are safe and compatible by testing in accordance with the required safety legislation, codes of practice, policies, and applicable SANS publications. Monitoring those activities necessary to fulfil the Project’s Quality requirements. Assist Site by continuous inspection during construction activities to ensure compliance to Client specification.

Primary duties will include:
**Technical**
- Inspecting, testing and issuing of all C.O.C.'s on completion of work as per required client specification
- Ensuring that all electrical components are safe and compatible by testing in accordance with the required safety legislation, codes of practice, policies and applicable SANS publications
- Ensuring that all legal documentation is adhered to and signed off by the client after testing is completed
- To read and interpret blueprints, which include but are not limited to technical diagrams that show outlets, circuits, panel boards, load centres and other equipment
- Knowledge of project specifications
- Relationship with project team
- Inspection of delivered items
- Internal audits including stores

**Quality**
- Review and advice on Sub Contractor and vendor QC policy and procedure
- NCR's and related documentation
- Reporting on quality deviations
- Quality record keeping
- Quality meetings
- Test equipment control
- Sign off punch lists
- Data packs and hand over

**Policies and Procedures**:

- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Will be required to do work within your abilities from time to time that is outside the Job Description as detailed above
- Ensure adherence to Safety regulations and standards.

**Preconditions**:

- Master Installation Electrician Trade Certificate.
- 5 to 7 Years Experience as MIE within the Petrochemical and/or Mining Construction Industry.
- Installation Specifications.
- Electrical Design.
- Ass-Built procedures
- QA/QC experience.
