Who is LexisNexis?

Our Quality Assurance Team is at the forefront of leading or participating in testing of systems. As we are striving to improve on perfection in every release, we are looking to recruit a Sr. Quality Test Analyst.

What will you do?

The position will usually have a diversified understanding of QA testing including different testing methodologies, legacy products, and new innovation/acquisition products.

Your main responsibilities are:

- Develop and execute testing for large or multiple diverse projects to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification;
- Construct, execute, and document test plans and test cases/scripts including regression, integration, certification, and load testing as appropriate in a manner consistent with team standards;
- Resolve issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate;
- Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate;
- Conduct project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implement procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables;
- Ensure that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders and results of root cause analysis are addressed;
- Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards;
- Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality;
- Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance;
- Assist with process improvement and compliance to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on a timely basis.

What do you bring to us?
- 3+ years of QA Test Analyst experience;
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required;
- Advanced knowledge of QA methodologies and understanding of automation/other tools that increase testing efficiency;
- Automation experience in Selenium and Java;
- Proven research skills;
- Knowledge of constructing and executing test plans and process improvement;
- Solid understanding of the software development process and project management;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent written/communication skills in English;
- Proficiency in working within budgets.
