**Logistics Coordinator (Fruit Industry)**

**Location**: Durbanville North

Our client, a leading fruit exporter situated in Durbanville, has an exciting position available for a **Logistics Coordinator**.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Freight Forwarding experience.**
- **Export Documentation**:

- Managing all export-related paperwork and documentation.
- **Logistics Planning and Instructions**:

- Coordinating logistics processes, including planning and providing instructions.
- Control process from client to cold storage to Transnet
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- **Stock Control**:

- Overseeing both export and local stock levels.
- **Systems Coordination**:

- Administering and coordinating logistics systems.
- **Report Integration**:

- Developing, setting up, and integrating reports within the logistics environment.
- Collaborating with broader teams to enhance reporting efficiency.
- **Other Tasks**:

- Handling any additional responsibilities related to the logistics coordinator role.

**Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:

- **Matriculation (Grade 12)**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
- **Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position within the fruit industry.
- **IT and Reporting Systems**:

- Knowledge and experience with IT/reporting systems commonly used in the fruit industry.
- **Computer Proficiency**:

- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
- **Availability**:

- Willingness to work after hours during peak fruit export seasons
- **Language Skills**:

- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).

**Must have own car and drivers license.**:
