Structural Steel Draughtsman

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Multi Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (N4/N5)
- Proficiency in mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry
- 3D visualization skills
- Experience in sheet metal development and structural steel detailing (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of draughting experience in the Structural Steel Industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Caddie Drawing Packages
- Advanced Microsoft Office - Excel skills
- Analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities
- Results and deadline-oriented
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a pressurized environment

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate 3D visualizations and geometry calculations for roll-forming and tooling drawings for factory use.
- Develop precise project-specific technical drawings in 3D with required geometry calculations to support project acquisition.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, including cutting lists and necessary details, to aid customers in project completion.
- Prepare technical drawings and production sketches based on customer construction drawings and specifications.
- Generate comprehensive material and cutting lists with necessary details.
- Plan and oversee project phases according to customer timelines.
- Submit drawings and sketches for approval.
- Gather design information from customers and propose design details.
- Utilize CAD systems for performance optimization.
- Assist with estimating drawings to support Sales in securing project orders.
- Extract quantities from drawings for quick estimates.
- Adhere to closing dates and specifications promptly.
- Utilize CAD system and MS Office, especially Excel, to enhance performance.

**General**:

- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
- Offer general and technical customer service.
- Provide comprehensive sales, marketing, and technical backup service when required.
- Collaborate positively within the team and assist other members as necessary.
