Fitter and Turner

The steel factory in Bellville is in need of a reliable and dedicated individual with experience in working with mechanical tooling with a fitter and turner background.

We are looking for a meticulous individual with a good working ethic and technical aptitude that would take pride in the working condition of permanent moulds and further has a respect for established procedures such as house keeping and mould setup.

The daily tasks can be summerised as follows
- Setup moulds and tools
- Maintenance scheduling
- Inspection of permanent moulds
- Repairing of components
- General housing keeping

Job requirements:
The following will serve as recommendation:

- Grade 12 compulsory.
- Proficient in English/Afrikaans.
- Literate
- Meticulous, diligent, and dedicated.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Minimum 2 years experience as fitter and turner.
- References for previous employer.

**Salary**: R65.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitting and Turning: 2 years (required)
