Part-Time Nurse with Pacemaker Rhythm Strip Interpretation Skills (remote after 4pm)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Nurse to join our healthcare team with expertise in reading and interpreting pacemaker rhythm strips. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing pacemaker-generated rhythm strips to ensure the optimal functioning of implanted devices and to detect any irregularities or anomalies.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Pacemaker Rhythm Strip Interpretation**: Proficiently read and interpret pacemaker rhythm strips to assess the functionality and performance of implanted devices.
- ** Monitoring and Assessment**: Conduct regular reviews of patient pacemaker data, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues promptly.
- ** Collaboration**: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians and other nurses, to communicate findings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of pacemaker rhythm strip interpretations, patient assessments, and any interventions performed.
- ** Patient Education**: Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding pacemaker function, rhythm strip results, and necessary lifestyle adjustments.
- ** Adherence to Protocols**: Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for pacemaker management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Current nursing license.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on cardiology or cardiac care.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting pacemaker rhythm strips.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
