Training Facilitator

**Training Facilitator - IT System Development**:

- Minimum Qualifications Requirements: _
- Degree / diploma in Computer Science or holder of an NQF Level 5 or higher qualification in IT Systems development or Systems Support
- Matric pass in Maths and Science
- Teaching / facilitation qualification or experience
- Assessor trained
- Knowledge of / qualification in occupational skills delivery to special needs
- Solid on the job experience in systems development specifications and IT programming, database design, development and implementation with full IT project and data warehousing project cycle experience
- Competitive administrative practice
- MICT SETA registered an added advantage
- Moderator trained an added advantage

**Experience needed**:

- To / have worked with or facilitated to students using a learning record system (E-Learning system or LMS) to an NQF occupational IT programme.
- To communicate effectively with fellow IT staff & users of information systems for the delivery of IT systems development learning programme.
- To demonstrate an understanding of different types of computer systems and the use of computer technology in IT development and design for skills transfer in educational delivery.
- To make up electronic POE and have learning evidence collection skills

**Duties**:
Planning, Facilitation and administering training processes:
The individual should be able to:

- Facilitate to special needs unemployed youth of varied ability
- Administer occupational training practical’s administration and simulated exposure
- Compile training and occupational skills delivery reports
- Collect and review portfolio of learning evidence
- Design, monitor and deliver on the implementation plan.
- Provide learners with an understanding of the Industry they will be pursuing a career in.

- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines professionally with team ethics
- Communication skills - the ability to present ideas and information clearly
- Excellent standard of organisational skills and Time Management - the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure key targets are met, whilst maintaining a high standard of work and accuracy concisely and accurately both verbally and in writing
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and Management of training expectations
- A willingness to work flexibly and versatile in your delivery and have innovative ways to deliver to varied groups of learners enable the College to achieve its priorities in work role
- Interpersonal skills - the ability to build and maintain effective professional student wellbeing in training and skills learning success
- Must demonstrate suitability to work with youth and vulnerable adults
- A commitment to operating always in a healthy and safe learning environment i.e. in this Covid environment (continuously reminding students of safe procedure, correct mask wearing, sanitisation and social distancing

- SQL Server Database Administration (design, implementation & support)
- .NET 4 MVC and hands-on experience of SQL and stored procedure
- programming using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
- exposure to web based software development and.net technology

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: Up to R17,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

- systems development specifications: 2 years (preferred)
- IT programming: 2 years (preferred)
- database design: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- MICT assessor registered (preferred)
