Animal Nutritionist

We are seeking a forward thinking, creative and experienced Animal Nutritionist to join our growing Pet Nutrition team in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

- Food development (dog and cat)
- Consulting with brands (may involve travel around Cape Town)
- General admin pertaining to range work
- Liaising with the relevant feed departments
- Supporting our lead Nutritionist on projects and scopes of work
- Following up on laboratory results, costings and development supporting roles
- Be creative and push the envelope to enable our clients to have exciting products
- Constant research into pet market trends alongside our supportive staff
- Be positive, confident and friendly

**The requirements for this position**:

- Relevant degree in Animal Science (BSc) from an accredited University
- SACNASP registration must be valid
- 1 - 3 years’ experience developing food products for the pet food industry
- Own vehicle and driver’s license

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
