WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The **Technician II **will provide support and specialized technical Non Destructive Testing services to the Quality department at RDM Somerset West site in order to achieve the Business Plan.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Radiographic testing of ammunition and ammunition sub-systems.
- Sentencing radiographic images from company specific product specification
- Ensure effective segregation of non-conforming product.
- Ensure compliance to applicable company systems requirements and maintain traceability.
- Ensure completion of documentation associated with projects

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with National Technical Qualification in NDT- Level II.
- Additional NDT qualifications are beneficial
- Exposure and understanding of ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
- Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to lift 25kg un-assisted
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to focus while conducting highly repetitive work
- Ability to work under pressure and shift pattern.
- Ability to work in a team
- Self-motivated, good communication and problem solving skills.
- South African citizen
- Computer literate (MS office packages).
- Able to maintain a high level of quality and consistency when performing their duties
- No criminal record - may be vetted by Armscor
