**Role Description**

Our hair services department is dedicated to delivering excellent haircutting services, and is actively seeking a team member who will contribute expertise and an upbeat, collaborative attitude. The position will be based at our North Riding office

**Objectives of this role**
- Ensure finished hairstyles meet customer expectations
- Maximize revenue by cross-selling hair products and services to customers
- Maintain the salon’s reputation for excellent customer service
- Establish positive relationships with customers, leading to regular visits
- Manage and oversee hair appointments
- Stay up to date on new hairstyle trends and techniques
- Ensure stations are clean and presentable

**Responsibilities**
- Shampoo, cut, and dye different types of hair
- Provide scalp and hair treatments
- Describe and promote retail hair care products
- Maintain proper upkeep of haircutting tools and equipment
- Keeps tools and workstation clean
- Consults with clients to determine the best style according to their hair texture and facial features
- Style hair for special and formal occasions
- Attends trainings and informative programs
- Helps foster and maintain a relaxed and positive salon atmosphere
- Quickly responds to customer concerns about hair styling
- Manage and assist customers on our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
- Update customer information, order meta and product data on a regular basis
- Learn and follow a comprehensive sales, marketing, operations and delivery cycle
- Capture and document sales orders, invoices, GRNs and any other relevant data/documents on our accounting system
- Calculate, document, manage and communicate customer billings, quotations, invoices, delivery notes and refunds
- Consistently improve conversion rates throughout our organisation
- Optimise daily leads and enquiries effectively
- Establish long term customer loyalty and adapt to various customer requests
- Learn and adapt to our sales, delivery, operations and marketing cycle with ease
- Exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance targets
- Deliver high quality personalised support
- Display Initiative and creativity in your work to ensure the needs of our customers are met and exceeded on a regular basis
- Drive product sales with superior sales strategy
- Learn and demonstrate advanced product knowledge
- Liaise with all departments including but not limited to sales, logistics, procurement, operations, marketing and accounting
- Schedule and manage client requests on a regular basis
- Provide excellent customer service throughout our organisation
- Source, convert and maintain leads with a target driven approach
- Collaborate and assist other employees with our website, CRM, sales, marketing and operations as a whole
- Provide excellent follow up service
- Demonstrate natural product appeal to customers based on our brand and sales strategy
- Communicate with customers effectively across multiple support channels
- Liaise with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies
- Collaborate and assist the sales team with administrative duties and sales tactics
- Consistently provide target market and competitor data for additional analyses
- Ad hoc tasks will be required
- Group assistance will also be required

**Skills and qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of beauty service experience
- Creative, artistic, and innovative
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience using different types of haircutting tools
- Relevant licensing or certification from a cosmetology school
- Strong knowledge of beginner, intermediate, and advanced haircutting techniques
- Willingness to stand for extended periods of time
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn about new hairstyle trends and methods
- A portfolio of prior work that demonstrates creativity
- Ability to work occasional weeknight, weekend shifts and retail hours

**Individual Requirements**
- Own transport with valid driver’s license
