Code4Kids is a program used by schools as a way to teach coding, robotics and IT to grades 4-9. The program is sold to schools, teachers are trained, and lessons are taught in class.

We’ve had success in South Africa (with more than 100,000 students using the program at their schools) and we are currently looking to continue to drive growth both locally in South Africa and internationally in Australia, New Zealand and the UK..

To fuel this growth, we’re looking for a self-driven Account Executive to help us further expand Code4Kids into the global school market.
- Is based in South Africa, or a South African working remotely (i.e. Thailand, This is a South African salary)
- Has 1+ years experience working in education or any related industry.
- Has 2+ years sales experience.
- Knowledge of the schools market and school buying habits is a big plus.
- A people person who would consider themselves good at ‘putting themselves out there’ and can help consult with schools to see if Code4Kids is the best solution for them.
- A confident self-starter, comfortable generating leads, building relationships, delivering presentations and closing deals.

**Responsibilities**
- Create and manage the development of a list of schools and teacher contacts.
- Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and activities in our CRM system.
- Consult with teachers/principals to assist the feasibility of using Code4Kids for their school.
- Present, promote and sell Code4Kids to schools.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
- Continuously develop knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze the potential of international school markets, track sales and produce status reports.
- Continuously improve through feedback.

**Requirements**:

- Work experience in sales.
- Knowledge of school systems & markets.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM practices.
- Highly motivated and target driven.
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

**Benefits**
- Remuneration, R20,500 per month base, with On Target Earnings, OTE: 50-50 (i.e. R41,000/m if on target) (i.e. the ability to double that based on hitting on-target sales)
