**JOB SUMMARY**
The DTP Operator reports to the Traffic Manager and is responsible for the accurate typesetting of financial print and digital mediums, and delivering a product of exceptional quality, within the negotiated timelines.

**ABOUT OUR CLIENT**
Our client is a reputable and market leading stakeholder communications company specialising in financial reporting offering design, writing, project management and logístical services.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**
- You'll hold a relevant Typography diploma.
- 3 to 5 years, experience gained in a similar position and experience in design advantageous.
- Previous experience gained in an advertising or marketing agency, or within a large corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of printing and production processes.
- Microsoft Windows: Advanced Level: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Advanced levels of Mac: Adobe CC suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- It would be a strong advantage (but not a requirement) to have Finished Art experience as well as Chase software experience.
- Proficient in all forms of communication in English (and Afrikaans advantageous).
- Own reliable transport and ability to travel required.
- Able to work after hours.
- Able to work on site at various clients.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Customer focus: Keep the Traffic Manager and Project Manager informed of progress continuously, provide an accurately typeset document of exceptional quality and find solutions to potential work-related problems and communicate these proactively to the Traffic Manager.
- Workflow process: Follow correct systems, procedures according to the workflow process on all projects.
- Finance and administration: Accurate daily recording of time with details worked on projects and ensure that house corrections are always kept below to a maximum of 10% of the actual hours spent on the job.
- Relationships: Build constructive relationships within the team and across the business.
- Company strategy: Implement any company initiatives and maintain and promote company culture.

**REMUNERATION PACKAGE**
A market related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer.
