Company in Midrandis looking for a Senior Legal Consultant to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide legal representation to the Business Units and supports the work of the Business Units.

Provide accurate and timely counsel to all departments on a variety of complex issues and legal risks within the Business Unit.

Draft and solidify contracts and other legal documents to ensure the Business Units full legal rights.

Review, edit, interpret, provide schedules of deviation and advise on contracts and other legal documents (including inter alia bids and contracts) to ensure the company’s full legal rights.

Identify, research, and analyse legal issues and risks that affect the Business Unit and its activities at all jurisdictional levels associated with the Organization’s activities, ongoing operations, and strategic initiatives.

Effectively manage and resolve litigation matters relating to the Business Units.

Collaborate with the Business Units to devise efficient defence strategies.

Develop and provide trainings on legal issues, processes and policies to different audiences in the Business Unit.

Communicate, present and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc), creating relations of trust.

Knowledge of all legislation (including regulations and the like) relevant to our organisation, including that relating to inter alia: public sector; commercial laws; company laws; labour laws; technology laws; corporate governance; andintellectual Property laws.

Maintain knowledge of amendments in the relevant legislation (including regulations and the like).

Maintain professional and timely communications.

Document and maintain legal files.

Provide reporting, as required.

Perform duties with integrity, responsibility and accountability

**Requirements**:
LLB and Admission as Attorney of the High Court.

Minimum of 7 years of experience PQE.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law and procedures.

High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

**Significant professional experience with inter alia**: public sector engagements; commercial contracts; management of litigation matters;detailed reviewing of bids and providing schedules of deviation relating thereto; and stakeholder engagement (internal, external and regulatory)
