Stores Assistant

**Job Advert Summary**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Two (2) years’ experience as a store assistant, receiver, or related position
- Proficient writing skills, including basic accounting skills.
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift.
- Physically able to lift 25 kg or more.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work night, weekends, extended hours, and holidays.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.
- The Store Assistant will have to pass a health clearance and induction course.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Keep record of all chemical issues on relevant documents.
- Receive returned chemicals.
- Ensure that housekeeping in and around the Chemical and Main Packaging Store is maintained according to the relevant standards.
- Ensure Health & Safety rules and regulations are complied with in working area.
- Stock control of chemicals, packaging and ingredients.
- Reconcile the stock at end of shift and assist with stock take on weekly and monthly basis.
