**Position available SHEQ Consultant**
**Duties**
- Develop and implement health and safety programs.
- Implementation and maintenance of a documented SHE system in line with relevant ISO Standards
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Monitoring compliance and conducting Audits.
- Work independently to provide on-site Health and Safety Support
- Communicate with Clients and people of varying levels of professionalism.
- Effectively deliver on the administration requirements of the SHEQ management systems
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary Manage SHEQ compliance
- Client Site attendance as and when required
- New Client recruitment
**Knowledge/Education Requirement**:
- Qualification in occupational health and safety
- Qualification in auditing
- Sound knowledge of MHSA/OHSAS
- Sound knowledge of ISO Standards
- Computer literate (Word, Excel. PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience on electronic SHEQ management systems would be beneficial
**Experience and requirements**:
- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in a SHEQ environment focusing on Mining and Engineering
- Clear ITC and no criminal record
**Competencies Required**:
- Demonstrate in-depth Safety related knowledge and experience in
- Mining
- Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Construction
- Demonstrate, anticipate, and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
- Possess the knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail, good proofreading skills, excellent reliability, initiative and stress tolerance
- Perform with a professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
**Job Types**: Commission, Permanent
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hartbeespoort, North West: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
