**Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position**
- Overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware components.
- Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems.
- Collaborating with software vendors to implement updates and enhancements.
- Ensuring debt collection operations comply with South African debt collection laws and regulations, including the National Credit Act (NCA) and data protection requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining security protocols, access controls, and data encryption.
- Collaborating with external IT vendors and service providers to support debt collection technology and infrastructure.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.
- Ensuring seamless integration between various IT systems and data sources used in debt collection processes.
- Streamlining data flow and information sharing among systems.
- Leading a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, software developers, and IT support staff.
- Providing guidance, training, and support to the IT team.
- Providing technical support to debt collection staff to resolve IT-related issues and optimize the use of technology tools.
- Managing user administration tasks, including Active Directory admin, password resets, network drive mapping, and any other required tasks.
- Developing and managing the budget for IT operations within the debt collection department.
- Allocating resources for IT projects and maintenance.
- Maintaining documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Generating reports and insights related to IT and technology operations for management.
**Microsoft Technology Stack**:
- Active Directory (AD): User administration, including password resets, network drive mapping, and other tasks, suggests the use of Active Directory.
- Windows Server: Managing servers and ensuring the reliability and availability of IT systems typically involves Windows Server.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Commonly used in day-to-day operations.
**Education and Experience**
**Formal Education**
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in IT management, typically with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Minimum of 5- 8 years’ experience within a leadership role in an IT environment
**Salary**: R60 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month
**Experience**:
- IT Manager Level: 5 years (preferred)
