Casual Cashier

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they approach the cash register and process their transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that cash, credit and debit card payments are processed correctly and that change is given accurately.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure that they are resolved in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy cash register area, ensuring that all necessary supplies are well-stocked.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the cash register and ensure that all cash and other transactions are properly accounted for.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the cash register and the overall trampoline park.

Qualifications:

- Must have previous experience working as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to perform basic math calculations accurately.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From R26.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Table View, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail (preferred)
