Production Manager

**Freedom Won** has an opportunity for a **Production Manager** who will oversee operations in the manufacturing plant who is able to manage projects who can keep up with the continued growth and expansion of our company. The company is looking for a dynamic person to grow with the company work within a tight team, grow the brand and buy in to our family values to take the company to ever greater heights.

The Production Manager will be expected to run their respective factory autonomously while meeting daily production targets and ensuring the output of exceptional quality. Excellent communication skills are needed to communicate production matters clearly and concisely to the factory worker, admin and logistics departments and to the Departmental Head.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, evaluate and improve current manufacturing processes.
- Working together with Fabrication supervisors, to ensure products are manufactured to a certain quality standard.
- Safety of all staff members in the production facility.
- Daily production updates.
- Support SHEQ Initiatives and objectives.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ordering of equipment and spares thereby ensuring constant stock.
- Implement Standard Operating procedures for production.
- Ensure new employees are trained.
- Prepare a complete production plan weekly in advance, present and discuss with staff and management.
- Organise, monitor and control staff and overtime and manage overtime request processes.
- Optimise capacity planning and processes
- Manage staff requirements and direct the production team.
- Act proactively by identifying, solving and/or reporting unforeseen challenges
- Drive process optimization and cost saving initiatives.
- Liaise with Management on improvements in your section and drive to continuously improve the efficiency of your department.
- Report problems or situations to Senior management.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years proven working experience as a Production Manager.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One (Non-Negotiable).
- Exposure in Renewable Energy and solar will be an advantage.
- Prior production experience is a must.
- Production Industry Exposure.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent management skills.
- No Criminal Record.
